This guide provides a granular, step-by-step walkthrough to ensure you get the most out of every feature.
Phase 1: Getting Started & Account Personalization
The first step to staying in control is setting up your digital identity within the app.
Steps to Complete:
- Launch & Login: Open the FleetMate app and select Sign in with Gmail for a seamless sync or As a Guest to explore.
- Fill the Registration Form: Input your First Name and Last Name to personalize your dashboard.
- Enter Contact Details: Provide your Mobile Number; this is critical for receiving real-time alerts for insurance and service reminders.
- Identify your Organization: Enter your Company Name (Optional) to ensure all generated reports carry your business branding.
- Access the Dashboard: Once submitted, you will arrive at the Home screen, your central hub for all fleet actions.
Phase 2: Building Your Digital Garage
Before you can track trips or expenses, you must register your assets in the system.
Steps to Complete:
- Initiate Entry: Tap the large orange “+” button at the bottom center of the screen.
- Select ‘Vehicle’: Choose the vehicle option to open the “Add New Vehicle” form.
- Input Core Specs: Enter the Car Make, Model, Year of Manufacture, and current Odometer reading.
- Set Compliance Dates: Enter the Registration Number and, most importantly, the Registration Expiry Date to activate automated renewal alerts.
- Define the Asset: Expand “More Details” to select the Transmission Type and toggle Air Conditioning status.
- Select Features: Tap the tags for features your car includes, such as GPS Navigation, Bluetooth, or Backup Cameras.
- Visual Confirmation: Use the Images section at the bottom to take or upload photos of the vehicle for complete documentation.
- Save: Tap the checkmark at the top right to add the vehicle to My Garage.

- Log a Trip: Tap the “+” button and select Trip to document your start and end points.

- Document Incidents: If an issue occurs, select Incident from the quick-action menu. Take photos of the scene and vehicle for instant, complete documentation.
- Manage Drivers: Go to Driver Management in the “More” menu to assign specific drivers to vehicles and track their assignments.
